Another way of saying this is that human interpretation of events, whether current, past or future is always inaccurate and subjective.

It is explained in quantum physics with Heisenberg uncertaintly principle.

The uncertainty principle is generic. My questions were raised more thinking about the nature of the human brain.
The uncertainty principle is clearly a lot more interesting though, and it brings back the butterfly effect discussed in the earlier post: there is no telling on the magnitude of the chain of events that can be triggered by simply observing something.
However, if anyone had the capacity to obtain the instantaneous state of the whole universe and the ability to simulate the evolution of the state (give a delta of time).. without affecting the actual state of things, then, future could be predicted at the smallest level possible, which for our point of view, it really means that we are living a predefined life.. ..ummmm
