My friend is actually a nice guy. One can say that nobody is perfect, I don't agree with all that he does, but he's fundamentally a nice person. I don't know him well, but he does have some moral values. In that specific case, he maybe have gotten hurt by something she said, and he was in a hurry. But even then, he should have had the patience to accommodate her. Basically, it's not my business, everyone says that. But I don't believe in doing my own business. ..though I realize that telling people around what they should do can be pretty irritating and even counterproductive. I'm not sure how I would handle it is someone had to say something about how I behave.. but then again, I usually try to behave in a way that makes nobody upset (other than myself 8). I hope you are aware that there are women out there who (if you don't "dump" them like that) will consider you to not be a "real man"; they'd think you're "too nice" or "weak" and will eventually just "want to be friends". I definitely agree with you and I think you did the right thing helping the lady get home safely. It's just really sad to see how a lot of us don't really have our priorities clear when it comes to how we treat each other. All this nonsense going on in the dating scene with people faking that they're stronger than they actually are and people spending way too much time focusing on the things that aren't really important. Hopefully that gal will clue in to the fact a "real man" wouldn't treat her like your friend did on that first date and not bother with your friend any more.
