Sad ... we have to do something about this hidden productivity. We need to increase the C++ usage load. 8P

The sad thing about some of that stuff you're reading is that it's so easy to forget once you stop using it ... unless you live and breathe it daily for at least three months.

My accomplishment yesterday was learning 「政治家」and「寮」。I think I'll end up using 「政治家」more often than 「寮」, but it's slow and steady progress all the same.

Interesting. You learned two new words, the interesting part is, how do you know that you'll remember them ? 8)
I guess that the solution is to practice. So you may have to watch lots of news for the first word.

Fortunately for me, I have some older people that I can talk about 「政治家」issues with. I don't recon that the younger people I know would really want to (or care to) talk about such things. Strangely enough, I remember 「寮」by just thinking about it.

So ... what do you think about the Italian 「政治家達」?　8P

Italy: soccer, politics and a stream of TV commercials.
That's when I left, 10 years ago.
Now it's: more soccer, more politics a stream of TV commercials and a stream of Big Brother-like TV shows.

The less I know about that (my) country, the better I feel 8)
