But I have been through it last year and I can say I do not regret doing it at all. Somehow I have gained a new grip onto what I am doing and got rid of this "burnt out" thing that I felt in previous job. Even right now when the job I am doing is less demanding but brings me much more satisfaction (and $$$ which is probably more important). So good luck MF and do not worry. Nothing can be that bad that it could not turn worse :) Dumping stable work is always a problem especially after a solid time dedicted to this.
