I agree.. also I think I sometimes make things go around… so to speak. I could completely close the door to BS and avoid any ambiguity, but that takes another kind of personality.

As for making a new family.. what makes you think that it’s coming ? 8) I don’t think I’m yet ready for something like that. The thought alone scares me !
I don’t know if I could be a good father. I think that often kids that get treated too well, end up spoiled. To raise kids it’s a complex balance of paradoxes. There are too many scary ambiguities in the whole process. I’m too negative to jump into something which I know I have little control of !

It’s definitely a BIG help if one has the support of one’s family to help keep things in perspective. It seems that a lot of people tend to downplay the importance of basic values; at the end of the day “what goes around comes around”. When people don’t have respect for each other (or even themselves) all this madness happens and it “infects” other lives.

I’m looking forward to the day when you have a family of your own (I think it’s coming!); it’ll be interesting to see/read your comments then. I think relationships are a good thing. The “tricky” thing is that (it seems) in these days it’s all a mine field with people feeding each other bad advice … but ultimately it boils down to more people who are more selfish than giving.

As for the girl coming to her senses. I always wondered if and when that would be. I don’t think it’s possible for her to do a 180 degrees turn. Also I’ve seen her facing some pretty serious situations with a childish smile on her face.. stuff that would normally sign a person’s life, gulped down like a glass of water… Maybe age will do something, but in the end, I don’t really care anymore. I usually try help people, but most of the bad cases are helpless.. like those two. And the guy, he isn’t much better. I used to try think ways for him to stay in Japan (his goal). At some point I lent him a cellphone, helped him get Internet going, lent him LAN card.. (somebody else gave him a laptop) and he’d still be somewhat of an ass, not bothering to answer the phone most of the times.. while putting a nice face: “Davide you are so good, Davide this, Davide that”.. what a load of bullshit 8)

Sounds like the parents spoiled their child … too late for them, and too bad for her. Hopefully, she’ll “wake up” out of the mess she’s slowly making her life into … but usually, “waking up” means getting pregnant or getting old …

Perhaps she could use a bit of criticism. But I couldn’t do that, plus when pissed she can get very mean. Once a friend of mine dumped her and she answered that she thought she may have been pregnant ! I read that mail, it was weird and a bit scary !
